Managing locations

A location is a place your business operates from or works under. A single-site business has one location. A business with branches or crews has several. Praiseworthy ties every customer and every review to a location.

Locations matter for three reasons. Attribution needs them, because a review belongs to a place as well as a person. Comparison needs them, because you want to see which location performs and which lags. Thirdly, locations host your review pages for each branch. Without attaching a review profile link, customers have nowhere to leave a review.

A location arrives in the same ways your other data does. Your integration or import can create one automatically. You set up a location during onboarding so the app always has one to match against. A new location that arrives unmatched gets staged, the same as a staff identifier, and you map it once.
